Summer Time Change and Routines
The end of the school year is often celebratory, but for many it has moments of sadness or stress. Schedules change, and so friendships can too. Lots of “free time” can mean boredom, conflict and more financial pressure for parents.
Help your kiddos adjust with some pre-planned play dates or park “meet ups”. Consider sending a card home for your kids friends that has your phone number for summer meet ups.
As a family, create a “family bucket list” of no or low cost activities to do together!

Natural remedies for seasonal allergies backed by science:
Common symptoms of seasonal allergies or hay fever include itching, watery eyes, sneezing and congestion. While humans thrive on routine and schedule, it’s important to remember relax over the summer as well. Do try to have some consistency to help ground you. Helpful habits can include a regular evening walk, family meal time and weekday bedtime.
Never underestimate the value of a good hug, nature, a nutritious meal, a nice walk and a good night’s sleep. These small habits can ground us and settle our nervous system. Keep that in mind these next couple months.
Hope this helps!
