ChudzinskiWith over 10 years of extensive training and experience from The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and several local community mental health and addiction services, and a Master’s degree in Individual, Couple and Family Counselling from Sir Wilfred Laurier University, Nicole has the knowledge, experience, training and tools needed to support you through your difficult time.

Furthermore, it is her belief that counselling is to be time limited. Therefore, Nicole utilizes the most appropriate evidence based treatment modality for each client based on their needs, current challenges or experiences and reasons for seeking counselling. At Healing Moments, counselling services are informed by: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Relational Therapy, Narrative Therapy.

Solution Focused Therapy, Structured Relapse Prevention, Motivational Interviewing and Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Trauma Informed Care and Crisis Intention/Management, specific to suicide and self-harm. Nicole is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers, and therefore, counselling fees are covered by many supplemental insurance plans.
