Natalie McDonald

Dr. Natalie McDonald

BSc, DC, Chiropractor, Acupuncture Practitioner, Clinic Owner and Director

Dr. Natalie McDonald attended McMaster University and received an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a minor in Religious Studies. She then attended New York Chiropractic College, graduating Cum Laude and was selected as the first female (and Canadian) chiropractic intern at the National Naval Medical Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. She participated in surgical and rehabilitative rounds while treating active duty and retired military personnel. Dr. Natalie also attended the McMaster University Medical Acupuncture course, earning a certificate in acupuncture.

Practicing in the Milton community since 2004, she enjoys treating newborn infants, expectant mothers and individuals of all ages. She has been trained in multiple techniques and is proud to provide quality, individualized care. Dr. Natalie has recently been certified in chiropractic pediatrics by the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice and as a mother of two young children, recognizes the positive impact that chiropractic care can have on the pediatric population.

Dr. Amy L. Scherer

BSc, DC, Chiropractor, Clinic Owner and Director

Dr. Amy Scherer graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, prior to which she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wilfrid Laurier University. She gained valuable experience as an intern with the Donwood Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre in Toronto, working with patients to address their addictions and make positive lifestyle changes.

Dr. Scherer uses traditional chiropractic techniques, combined with the latest research and personalized treatment plans, as well as offering exercise prescription, myofascial release therapy, ultrasound, IFC, TENS and custom orthotics. Dr. Amy Scherer grew up in Milton and is very excited to be back home, raising her own family and providing quality care to the community that she loves so much.

Dr. Chelsey Spano

B.Kin,(Hon), D.C., Medical Acupuncture Provider

Dr. Chelsey attended McMaster University where she earned her Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology. From there, she attended Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario; where she successfully graduated with Clinic honours distinction.

Dr. Chelsey has complemented her chiropractic training with supplemental education in Active Release Techniques. She has also completed the McMaster University Medical Acupuncture course, and is a Certified Medical Acupuncture Provider.

She provides patient-centered chiropractic care utilizing diversified chiropractic techniques, including spinal and extremity manipulation, myofascial release, and rehabilitation recommendations.

Dr. Chelsey strives to empower and educate her patients to take an active role in their health and overall well being. She has a passion for helping those in need of care to reduce pain, and improve function. Her goals are to provide natural alternatives that optimize the life and performance goals of each patient.

Dr. Rishma Walji

ND, RAc, PhD, Naturopathic Doctor and Registered Acupuncturist

Dr. Rishma Walji is a licensed naturopath and registered acupuncturist. She has been working professionally in this field for over 12 years.

In her clinical practice, she combines the application of traditional and complementary medicine with modern science. She works with patients who have a variety of health concerns such as pain, arthritis, sports injuries, pediatric health concerns, diabetes, gastrointestinal disease, heart disease and more.

In addition to general practice, her clinical focus is on women’s health, specifically fertility and perinatal health (pregnancy and post-delivery).

She is also very experienced in treating pain. She gets great results with sports injuries, back/neck pain, sciatica, etc.

Dr. Walji graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and also attained her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Toronto. She did get post-doctoral fellowship at McMaster University. Dr. Walji continues to remain actively involved in academic research and lecturing at various post-secondary institutions across southern Ontario.

Dr. Renata Zambo

BSc (Hons.) Kin, ND, CISSN  Naturopathic Doctor and Certified Sports Nutritionist

Dr. Renata Zambo is a Naturopathic physician who believes everyone should be able to experience life at the next level through a body that is functional, healthy, and happy. She believes that setting and conquering some serious health goals is totally possible, especially when you have a whole team to support you.

Dr. Renata did her undergraduate degree at McMaster in Kinesiology and studied at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Her own sporting background in synchronized swimming and diving has motivated her to find a niche in sports medicine, where she has had the chance to work with athletes in the MILB and NFL. She has an interest in concussion management and optimal nutrition for athletes. Outside of athletics, she has a passion for all things digestive health, such as IBS and SIBO, metabolic conditions like diabetes and high cholesterol, vascular disease, eczema, and anxiety and depression.

Above all, Dr. Renata loves working with people and is excited to work with you on your health journey. Outside of medicine, Dr. Renata is an avid rock climber and health foodie. She is currently training for a half marathon and finds joy in the simple things like a good cup of coffee or a sci fi novel.

Tamara J. Brady

BA, BScPT,RMT  Registered Massage Therapist

Tamara Brady graduated with honours from Kikkawa College in Toronto. Prior to this, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Queen’s University in Kingston and a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Russell Sage College in Troy, New York.

Tamara’s priority is to help you meet your goals for each massage therapy treatment. Her focus on balancing tension around the joints of the body helps to alleviate pain and improve functional movement. As well as effective hands-on treatments, Tamara’s assessment skills help her guide you on your path to wellness through specific exercises or stretches.

Always motivated to learn more and treat you more effectively, Tamara’s training includes sports massage, myofascial massage, lymphatic drainage, neuromuscular release, Thai yoga massage, reflexology, Suikodo and spinal positional release. She treats a variety of conditions including TMJ dysfunction, sinus congestion, tension headaches, constipation, and breast congestion.

Tamara welcomes patients of all ages and conditions into her practice.

Daniela Mezzaucella

Update April 2019 – Daniela has welcomed a new baby girl to her beautiful family and will be home enjoying this time. She will be accepting appointments in early January 2020. Congratulations Daniela! We are so happy for all of you.

Registered Massage Therapist Daniela Mezzaucella has been an active member of the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario since 2012.

Throughout the years of her professional career she has gained exceptional practical skills in the areas of Deep Tissue Massage, and various Skeletal/Neuromuscular conditions such as Sciatica, Degenerative Disc Disease, Chronic pain, Pre/Post Natal massage, Migraine/Headaches, and Myofascial release. She customizes treatment plans based on each individual’s specialized needs.

Daniela’s clinical focus when treating is Deep Tissue Massage that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscle. Although she can customize her pressure to the clients request she is VERY successful with the results of her treatment for patients with chronic pain, limited mobility and muscle tension through deep tissue massage.

She is certified in therapeutic Ultrasound, Electrotherapy IFC/TENS and Indie head massage. She provides remedial care and hydrotherapy as a part of patient home care.

Daniela provides the highest quality of patient care and her compassion for the care and well-being of her patients is what makes her a well-rounded therapist.

Megan Yeoman

HBSc Kin, RMT, Registered Massage Therapist

Megan Yeoman has always been passionate about health promotion and the human body, which led to her studies at McMaster University, where she received an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She then continued to further her studies, graduating from the diploma program at Sutherland-Chan Massage School & Teaching Clinic. Throughout her education and student clinic experience, Megan has gained knowledge in areas such as central nervous system disorders, post-surgical treatments, sport and lifestyle injuries, prenatal treatments, headaches/migraines and postural dysfunction.

To ensure that her client’s needs are met, she creates individualized treatments specific to the client’s presentation using tools such as deep tissue therapy, trigger point release, myofascial release, various hydrotherapy and remedial exercise programs – while guaranteeing safety. Megan enjoys helping her clients to receive the treatment they need to relieve pain and discomfort in order to create and maintain a healthy life.

Genevieve Rayner

RMT, Registered Massage Therapist

Following a background in Kinesiology, Gen transitioned into Massage Therapy graduating with honors from Canadian Therapeutic College in 2007. She began her professional practice of massage therapy immediately at Complete Wellness Clinic until 2015 treating clients with various injuries and needs. At that time, she decided to step away from massage to focus on her family.

In her previous practise Gen’s specialty was deep tissue massage with extensive experience in sports injury and athletes, ranging from the weekend warrior up to the professional level. Gen has experience treating everything from sprains and strains to post surgical rehabilitation. Growing up as a national level athlete herself, she loves helping athletes return to competition by focusing on their healing and recovery. She has done additional training in lymphatic drainage to manage swelling, and fascial work to decrease muscular adhesions.

Aside from sports therapy, Gen also has experience with pre and post-natal massage, treating headaches, low back pain, as well as generalized tension. She is passionate about helping clients return to optimal health and feeling their best.

Keri Feldman

RMT, Registered Massage Therapist

Keri has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2001, graduating from Kikkawa College.  A veteran therapist, she has worked in various multi disciplinary clinics throughout her 18 years of practice.  Experienced in pre and postnatal care, sports and work place related injuries as well as motor vehicle accident rehabilitation.  On top of working in a clinical setting, Keri supplements her time as an Examiner for the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario for the provincial board exams.

Keri works diligently with all of her clients to help them attain their goals and optimum health.  She will work with you to personalize your care in order for you to achieve optimal results.

As a mother of 2 boys, Keri supports her children in all their activities and ensures they understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle.  Keri spends her spare time as an avid crossfitter both training and competing for fun.

Nicole S. Chudzinski

With over 10 years of extensive training and experience from The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and several local community mental health and addiction services, and a Master’s degree in Individual, Couple and Family Counselling from Sir Wilfred Laurier University, Nicole has the knowledge, experience, training and tools needed to support you through your difficult time.

Furthermore, it is her belief that counselling is to be time limited. Therefore, Nicole utilizes the most appropriate evidence based treatment modality for each client based on their needs, current challenges or experiences and reasons for seeking counselling. At Healing Moments, counselling services are informed by: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Relational Therapy, Narrative Therapy,

Solution Focused Therapy, Structured Relapse Prevention, Motivational Interviewing and Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Trauma Informed Care and Crisis Intention/Management, specific to suicide and self-harm. Lastly, if you are unsure about the type of counselling you might need, call and book a consultation session to determine what services will best suit your needs.

Nicole is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers, and therefore, counselling fees are covered by many supplemental insurance plans.
