Dr. Todd Patterson, HBKin, D.C.
Chiropractic and
Acupuncture
After extensively researching my options, I chose to
enroll at New York Chiropractic College (NYCC). I
was impressed with NYCC as it prides itself on
providing world-class scientifically-based
chiropractic education. Throughout my academic
career at NYCC, I was named to the dean’s list
numerous times and awarded several scholarships. I
was trained in diversified and Cox technique at NYCC.
While obtaining my doctoral degree, it was my
priority to expand my therapeutic techniques by
becoming certified in Active Release Technique, a
neuromuscular soft tissue therapy. I also pursued
acupuncture licensure by graduating from the
McMaster University Contemporary Medical Acupuncture
Program.
It has always been a dream of mine to return to
Canada and open a multi-disciplinary clinic. I am
fortunate to be able to integrate the invaluable
clinical experience that I have gained while
practicing in the United States. I have decided to
establish the Complete Wellness Clinic in Guelph
because of fond memories as a child at my
grandparents’ home in
Guelph and due to the tremendous
growth in population of active citizens, sparking
the growing interest and need for alternative and
complimentary therapies.
Since the opening of the
Guelph
clinic in 2005, the clinic has had steady growth. In
addition to practicing at Complete Wellness Clinic,
I have taken my education and passion for helping
others and have started teaching anatomy, physiology
and pathology to massage therapies students two
mornings a week. I have also forged a collaboration
with the Junior B Guelph Dominators hockey team as
their team’s Doctor treating a variety sport
injuries that arise throughout the season.
